The Kinsmen Arenas is looking for an energetic individual to drive the Zamboni as well as help clean at our facility located in south Edmonton. Position
This position will be a flex schedule position. Shifts will range between 6 and 10 hours in length between 6:00am and 2:00am the following day. The work week will be between 35 and 50 hours each week. Most available shifts are evenings and weekends. A shift premium of $0.40 is paid for every hour worked after 6:00pm and an additional hour is paid for working a weekend shift. Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half. Other benefits are available.
Responsibilities
- Ice maintenance including the operation of the Zamboni and power edger, hand edging, performing hose floods and taking ice measurements.
- Light to medium janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and fixtures, washing walls and windows.
- Medium to heavy janitorial duties such as operating pressure washers, auto-scrubber, and swing machine.
